<3 I downloaded yours while snooping the ftp. ^^ I loved it so much that I googled your name and title and found your website. Really good job, btw. I like girl love that's done in a realistic kind of way, as so much of it tends to be vampire lesbians which, while being wildly hot, often seem to fail at character depth. T_T not that this stops me from reading boobie comics, but yours was so CUUUUTE. XD

Thanks~! I'm super glad you like it :D Yours was one of my top picks; I have no doubt it'll get in the book-- your toning and line quality and everything... gah! I'm worried about mine... I did it back in October and there's so many things I'd do adjust if I could.
Good luck to both of us :3~

lol, there are so many things I wish I could fix too! O_O It makes me think that maybe if i don't get in, I'll come back next year even better or something. XP At least you've already got work published. If I make it this year, it will be my first published comic. : D

As I said on the psuedome forums, I love your characters. ^^ They were really sweet and heart touching. Plus, I like that it was romance [I thought] but it didn't get gushy or kissy. I'll cross my fingers for you, but the romance genre this year is such tough competition. T_T I wish that all the finalists could be printed because as of yet, I haven't found a single one that didn't have something appealing in it for me. O_O

It just means your publishing debut will be spectacular : D~ Will you just keep doing RSOM, or try and do other anthology work/a pilot pitch for Tokyopop? (I'm waiting to hear back on the latter... I (like to) think the delay is because they want RSOM to finish first. argh!)

I wanted to do a romance without big sparkly kisses... ending on a happy kiss is so overdone! Heh, one of my professors said during a crit that he really wanted the closure of a kiss, but the rest of the class rose up and overthrew him, all clamoring that they liked how it was just a touch. XD But an intimate touch!

Some of the entries I have little-to-no doubt about their getting a place in the book (like yours!), others I feel have potential but aren't there yet (or they need to pair up with a writer, etc), and others I feel... really need editors/someone to critique them. XD; But it's a really good group this year. :o Aaah, the tension!
